Boston Cream Donuts (Print Version)
Ingredients:

2 ¼ tsp active dry yeast.

¾ cup warm milk.

¼ cup granulated sugar.

2 large eggs.

¼ cup unsalted butter (melted).

3 ½ cups all-purpose flour.

½ tsp salt.

Oil for frying.

1 cup vanilla pudding.

1 cup chocolate ganache.
Instructions:

Dissolve the yeast in warm milk and let it sit for 5 minutes until frothy.

Mix in sugar, eggs, melted butter, and salt to the yeast mixture and combine well.

Gradually add the flour and mix until a soft dough forms.

Knead the dough for about 5 minutes until smooth and elastic.

Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size.

Roll the dough out to ½-inch thickness and cut into circles. Let the donuts rise for another 30 minutes.

Heat oil to 350°F (175°C) and fry the donuts for 1-2 minutes per side until golden brown. Drain on paper towels.

Using a piping bag, fill each donut with vanilla pudding.

Dip the tops of the donuts in chocolate ganache and allow the ganache to set.
