Cheesecake Crescent Rolls Casserole (Print Version)

Ingredients:

01 - 2 cans refrigerated crescent roll dough.
02 - 2 (8 oz) blocks cream cheese, softened.
03 - 1 cup granulated sugar.
04 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract.
05 - ¼ cup melted butter.
06 - 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon.
07 - 2 tablespoons granulated sugar (for topping).

Instructions:

01 - Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish to prevent sticking.
02 - Unroll one can of crescent roll dough and press it into the bottom of the prepared dish, pinching the seams together to form a continuous layer.
03 - In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with 1 cup of sugar and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
04 - Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the bottom crescent roll layer in the dish.
05 - Unroll the second can of crescent roll dough and place it on top of the cream cheese layer, pinching the seams together for a smooth top.
06 - Brush the top layer with melted butter, then sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture (2 tablespoons sugar mixed with 1 tablespoon cinnamon) generously over the top.
07 - Bake the casserole for 30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and crispy.
08 - Allow the casserole to cool for at least 20 minutes before cutting it into squares. Optionally, drizzle with honey before serving for added sweetness.

Notes:

01 - Tip: For a more decadent flavor, add a drizzle of caramel or chocolate sauce before serving!.
