07 -
2 tablespoons granulated sugar (for topping).
Instructions:
01 -
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish to prevent sticking.
02 -
Unroll one can of crescent roll dough and press it into the bottom of the prepared dish, pinching the seams together to form a continuous layer.

In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with 1 cup of sugar and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
04 -
Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the bottom crescent roll layer in the dish.
05 -
Unroll the second can of crescent roll dough and place it on top of the cream cheese layer, pinching the seams together for a smooth top.
06 -
Brush the top layer with melted butter, then sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture (2 tablespoons sugar mixed with 1 tablespoon cinnamon) generously over the top.
07 -
Bake the casserole for 30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and crispy.
