Cookie Dough Bars (Print Version)

Ingredients:

01 - Base Layer: 1 1/2 cups crushed chocolate graham crackers (or chocolate cookies), 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted.
02 - Cookie Dough Layer: 1 cup unsalted butter, softened, 1 cup brown sugar, packed, 1/2 cup granulated sugar, 1/4 cup milk, 1 tsp vanilla extract, 2 cups all-purpose flour (heat-treated for safety), 1 cup chocolate chips, plus extra for topping.

Instructions:

01 - In a mixing bowl, combine crushed graham crackers and melted butter, mixing until crumbs are evenly coated. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of an 8x8-inch pan to form a crust. Place in the refrigerator to set while preparing the cookie dough layer.
02 - Cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Add milk and vanilla extract, mixing until smooth. Gradually add in the heat-treated flour, mixing until fully incorporated. Stir in chocolate chips.
03 - Spread the cookie dough mixture over the prepared crust, smoothing it out evenly. Sprinkle extra chocolate chips on top for decoration, pressing them lightly into the dough.
04 - Refrigerate the bars for at least 2 hours or until firm. Slice into squares and serve chilled for a perfect no-bake treat.
