Peanut Butter Squares (Print Version)
Ingredients:

6 cups Rice Krispies cereal.

1 cup light corn syrup.

1/2 cup sugar.

1 cup smooth peanut butter.

1 tsp vanilla extract.

1 1/2 cups milk chocolate chips.

1/2 cup smooth peanut butter (for topping).

1/4 cup holiday sprinkles.

1/4 cup chopped salted peanuts (optional).
Instructions:

Line a 9x13 inch baking pan with parchment paper. In a saucepan, mix the corn syrup, peanut butter, sugar, and vanilla over medium-low heat until combined (do not boil). Pour the mixture over the Rice Krispies in a mixing bowl and stir to coat. Press into the pan evenly.

In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate chips and 1/2 cup of peanut butter in 30-second intervals until smooth. Spread this mixture over the cereal layer.

Sprinkle with holiday sprinkles and optional chopped peanuts. Cool for 2 hours at room temperature before cutting into squares.
