01 - 6 cups Rice Krispies cereal.
02 - 1 cup light corn syrup.
03 - 1/2 cup sugar.
04 - 1 cup smooth peanut butter.
05 - 1 tsp vanilla extract.

08 - 1/4 cup holiday sprinkles.
09 - 1/4 cup chopped salted peanuts (optional).

Instructions:

01 - Line a 9x13 inch baking pan with parchment paper. In a saucepan, mix the corn syrup, peanut butter, sugar, and vanilla over medium-low heat until combined (do not boil). Pour the mixture over the Rice Krispies in a mixing bowl and stir to coat. Press into the pan evenly.
02 - In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate chips and 1/2 cup of peanut butter in 30-second intervals until smooth. Spread this mixture over the cereal layer.
03 - Sprinkle with holiday sprinkles and optional chopped peanuts. Cool for 2 hours at room temperature before cutting into squares.

Notes:

01 - Festive and crunchy peanut butter squares, perfect as a holiday treat.
02 - Ensure not to boil the corn syrup and sugar mixture to avoid making the bars too hard.
