Mix coconut, condensed milk, vanilla, powdered sugar and nuts (if using) until sticky dough forms.

Roll into small balls, place on lined baking sheet. Freeze 30 minutes.

Melt chocolate in microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.

Dip frozen balls in chocolate with fork or toothpick to coat.

Let set at room temperature or in fridge.
