Candy Apples (Print Version)

Ingredients:

01 - 4 medium apples.
02 - 2 cups granulated sugar.
03 - 1 cup water.
04 - ¼ cup light corn syrup.
05 - Food coloring (various colors of your choice).
06 - 1 bag of cotton candy (various colors).
07 - Lollipop sticks or wooden skewers.

Instructions:

01 - Thoroughly wash and dry the apples. Insert a lollipop stick into the top of each apple.
02 - In a saucepan, combine sugar, water, and corn syrup. Heat over medium, stirring occasionally until the mixture boils.
03 - Remove the saucepan from the heat and stir in a few drops of food coloring.
04 - Allow the syrup to cool for about a minute. Dip each apple into the candy coating, ensuring it’s completely covered.
05 - Place the coated apples on parchment paper to cool and harden completely.
06 - Once the candy coating is firm, gently wrap a bit of cotton candy around the top of each apple for a colorful and whimsical touch.
