Chicken And Dumplings (Print Version)

Ingredients:

01 - 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts.
02 - 4 cups chicken broth.
03 - 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup.
04 - 1 cup chopped carrots.
05 - 1 cup chopped celery.
06 - 1/2 onion, diced.
07 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder.
08 - 1 teaspoon onion powder.
09 - 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme.
10 - 1/2 teaspoon salt.
11 - 1/4 teaspoon black pepper.
12 - 1 cup frozen peas.
13 - 1 can (16.3 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough, cut into small pieces.

Instructions:

01 - Place chicken breasts, chicken broth, cream of chicken soup, carrots, celery, onion, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, salt, and pepper into the crockpot.
02 - Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until the chicken is tender and fully cooked.
03 - Once the chicken is cooked, shred it with two forks and return it to the crockpot.
04 - Stir in the frozen peas, then layer the biscuit dough pieces on top of the chicken mixture.
05 - Cover and cook on high for an additional 1-2 hours, until the biscuits are fully cooked and fluffy.
06 - Serve warm and enjoy!.

01 - For an extra touch of flavor, try adding fresh herbs like parsley or rosemary when serving.
