Lucky Charms Cookies (Print Version)

Ingredients:

01 - 1 ¼ cups all-purpose flour.
02 - ½ tsp baking soda.
03 - ¼ tsp salt.
04 - ½ cup unsalted butter, softened.
05 - ½ cup granulated sugar.
06 - ½ cup packed brown sugar.
07 - 1 large egg.
08 - 1 tsp vanilla extract.
09 - 1 cup Lucky Charms marshmallows.
10 - ½ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (optional).

Instructions:

01 - Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
02 - In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
03 - In a large bowl, cream together softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
04 - Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.
05 - Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
06 - Gently fold in Lucky Charms marshmallows and chocolate chips if using.
07 - Scoop tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
08 - Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden and the centers are set.
09 - Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
