Filet Mignon With Seafood Sauce (Print Version)

Ingredients:

01 - 4 filet mignon steaks (6-8 oz each).
02 - Salt and black pepper, to taste.
03 - 2 tbsp olive oil.
04 - 1 tbsp unsalted butter.
05 - 1/2 cup finely chopped shallots.
06 - 1 cup heavy cream.
07 - 1/2 cup lobster meat, chopped.
08 - 1/2 cup shrimp, peeled and deveined.
09 - 1/4 cup white wine.
10 - 1 tbsp lemon juice.
11 - 1 tsp garlic powder.
12 - Salt and black pepper, to taste.
13 - Fresh parsley, for garnish.

Instructions:

01 - Season filet mignon steaks with salt and pepper on both sides.
02 - Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook steaks for 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare, or adjust time to desired doneness. Remove from skillet and let rest.
03 - In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add shallots and cook until softened, about 2 minutes.
04 - Pour in white wine and lemon juice. Cook for 1-2 minutes until reduced slightly.
05 - Stir in heavy cream, garlic powder, and season with salt and pepper. Bring to a simmer.
06 - Add lobster meat and shrimp to the sauce. Cook until shrimp are pink and lobster is heated through, about 3-4 minutes.
07 - Spoon the shrimp and lobster cream sauce over the rested filet mignon steaks. Garnish with fresh parsley.
