Healthy Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies (Print Version)

Ingredients:

01 - 1 cup quick oats.
02 - 3/4 cup whole wheat flour.
03 - 1 1/2 tsp baking powder.
04 - 1 1/2 tsp cinnamon.
05 - 1/2 tsp kosher salt.
06 - 2 tbsp butter (melted and cooled).
07 - 1 tsp vanilla extract.
08 - 1 large egg.
09 - 1/2 cup honey.
10 - 1/2 to 3/4 cup dark chocolate chips (divided).

Instructions:

01 - Begin by heating your oven to 325°F and prepare a baking tray with parchment.
02 - In one bowl, mix together oats, flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
03 - In another small bowl, blend the melted butter with vanilla, egg, and honey until smooth.
04 - Integrate the dry mixture into the wet blend until just merged and then mix in half of the chocolate chips.
05 - Put the dough into the fridge for half an hour.
06 - Form 12-15 cookie shapes from the dough and arrange them on the baking tray.
07 - Bake for 12-13 minutes and then add the rest of the chocolate chips onto the warm cookies’ tops.
08 - Wait for them to cool before enjoying them.
