Caramel Popcorn (Print Version)

Ingredients:

01 - 1 bag microwave popcorn (or 2 tbsp un-popped popcorn = 4 cups popped popcorn).
02 - ½ cup salted butter (1 stick).
03 - ½ cup brown sugar (light or dark).
04 - 10-12 regular-sized marshmallows.

Instructions:

01 - Pop the microwave popcorn according to package instructions and place in a large mixing bowl. If using stove-popped popcorn, add ¼-½ cup butter for extra flavor.
02 - In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over low-medium heat. Stir in the brown sugar and let it bubble slightly. Add the marshmallows and stir vigorously until smooth and fully melted.
03 - Pour the warm caramel sauce over the popped popcorn and stir to coat evenly. For a more even spread, pour the popcorn onto a parchment-lined baking sheet and drizzle with caramel.
