Ingredients:

1.5–2 lbs Chicken Tenders (for fried chicken).

1.5 cups All-Purpose Flour (for fried chicken).

1 Large Egg + 2 tbsp Water (beaten, for fried chicken).

2 cups All-Purpose Flour (for biscuits).

1/2 cup Cold Butter (for biscuits).

Instructions:

In a bowl, mix flour, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Whisk egg and water in another dish.

Dredge chicken tenders in the seasoned flour, dip in egg wash, and coat again in flour. Heat oil to 365°F and fry chicken for 8-10 minutes until golden and crispy. Drain on paper towels.

Preheat oven to 450°F. In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, salt, and baking soda. Cut cold butter into the dry ingredients until crumbly.

Add buttermilk to the dry ingredients and mix until a dough forms. Roll out the dough, fold several times for flakiness, and cut out biscuits. Bake for 15-17 minutes, then brush with melted butter.

In a saucepan, heat honey and red pepper flakes over low heat. Simmer for 1 minute, then remove from heat and stir in apple cider vinegar.

Split biscuits in half. Add a fried chicken tender to each biscuit and drizzle with hot honey. Serve with pickles if desired.
