Mini Apple Pies (Print Version)

Ingredients:

01 - 2 cups all-purpose flour.
02 - 1 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed.
03 - ¼ cup sugar.
04 - ½ tsp salt.
05 - ½ cup ice water.
06 - 3 medium apples, peeled and diced.
07 - ¼ cup brown sugar.
08 - 1 tbsp all-purpose flour.
09 - 1 tsp cinnamon.
10 - 1 egg (for egg wash).
11 - 1 tbsp sugar (for sprinkling).

Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 375°F and grease a muffin tin.
02 - In a bowl, combine flour, butter, sugar, and salt. Add ice water and mix until a dough forms.
03 - Roll out dough and cut into circles, placing each into the muffin tin.
04 - In a separate bowl, toss apples with brown sugar, flour, and cinnamon.
05 - Fill each dough-lined cup with the apple mixture.
06 - Cut remaining dough into strips and create lattice tops for each pie.
07 - Brush with egg wash and sprinkle sugar on top.
08 - Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown. Cool before serving.

01 - These mini pies combine flaky dough with warm, cinnamon-spiced apples, making them perfect for fall baking.
02 - You can prepare the dough ahead of time and refrigerate it.
