Ingredients:

12 mozzarella cheese sticks (string cheese).

1 cup all-purpose flour.

2 eggs, beaten.

1½ cups breadcrumbs.

Instructions:

Unwrap the mozzarella sticks and freeze them for at least 30 minutes to prevent them from melting too quickly during frying.

Set up a breading station with three bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with breadcrumbs mixed with garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and salt.

Dip each mozzarella stick first in the flour, then in the beaten eggs, and finally in the breadcrumb mixture. For extra crispiness, repeat the egg and breadcrumb coating process.

Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Fry the mozzarella sticks in batches for 1-2 minutes until golden brown. Drain on paper towels.
