Oreo Cake Pops (Print Version)

Ingredients:

01 - 1 box (15.25 oz) chocolate cake mix.
02 - Ingredients for the cake mix (water, eggs, oil).
03 - ½ cup crushed Oreo cookies (for the cake).
04 - ½ cup unsalted butter (softened, for frosting).
05 - ¼ cup cream cheese (softened, for frosting).
06 - 2 cups powdered sugar (for frosting).
07 - 1 tsp vanilla extract (for frosting).
08 - ¼ cup crushed Oreo cookies (for frosting).
09 - 1½ cups white chocolate or candy melts (for coating).
10 - 1 tbsp vegetable oil (for coating).
11 - Extra crushed Oreos (for garnish, optional).
12 - Lollipop sticks.

Instructions:

01 - Bake the cake as directed on the box in a 9x13-inch pan. Once baked, let it cool completely.
02 - Crumble the cooled cake into a large bowl, and mix in ½ cup of crushed Oreo cookies.
03 - To make the frosting, beat the butter and cream cheese together until creamy. Gradually add the powdered sugar, and mix in the vanilla and crushed Oreo cookies.
04 - Combine the frosting with the crumbled cake mixture until moist and well combined.
05 - Form the cake mixture into 1-inch balls. Dip the lollipop sticks into melted white chocolate and insert them into the cake balls. Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
06 - Melt the white chocolate with vegetable oil, stirring until smooth. Dip each cake pop into the melted chocolate, ensuring they are fully coated.
07 - Garnish with extra crushed Oreo cookies if desired, and allow the cake pops to set completely before serving.

Notes:

01 - Refrigerate the cake pops for at least 30 minutes before dipping them in chocolate to ensure they hold their shape.
02 - Use candy melts for an easier and more consistent coating if preferred over white chocolate.
