Peanut Butter Spider Cookies (Print Version)
Ingredients:

1/2 cup creamy peanut butter.

1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened.

1/2 cup granulated sugar.

1/2 cup brown sugar, packed.

1 large egg.

1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour.

3/4 tsp baking soda.

1/4 tsp salt.

24 mini chocolate peanut butter cups.

48 candy eyes.

1/4 cup chocolate chips, melted (for piping legs).
Instructions:

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a bowl, cream the peanut butter, butter, and sugars together until fluffy.

Add the egg, mixing until combined.

In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.

Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet mixture.

Scoop dough and form into 1-inch balls, placing them on the baking sheet.

Bake for 8-10 minutes or until lightly golden. Let them cool slightly.

Press a peanut butter cup into the center of each cookie while still warm.

Use melted chocolate to pipe legs onto each cookie and attach candy eyes.
Notes:

Let the cookies cool for a few minutes before adding the peanut butter cups to prevent them from melting.

Use melted chocolate in a piping bag or zip-lock bag with a snipped corner to draw legs for the spiders.
