Instructions:

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.

In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, cloves, and salt.

In a separate large bowl, beat together the sugar, vegetable oil, eggs, pumpkin puree, and vanilla extract until smooth.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.

Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Let the bars cool completely before frosting.

For the frosting, beat the softened cream cheese and butter together until smooth and creamy. Gradually add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract, mixing until fluffy.
