Pumpkin Cruffins (Print Version)

Ingredients:

01 - 1 package puff pastry (2 sheets).
02 - ½ cup sugar.
03 - 2 tsp pumpkin spice.
04 - ¼ cup melted butter.
05 - ½ cup pumpkin puree.
06 - ½ cup cream cheese.
07 - ¼ cup powdered sugar.
08 - 1 tsp vanilla extract.

Instructions:

01 - Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a muffin tin.
02 - On a lightly floured surface, roll out the puff pastry sheets.
03 - In a small bowl, mix the sugar and pumpkin spice together. Brush the puff pastry with melted butter and sprinkle the pumpkin spice mixture evenly over the pastry.
04 - Cut the puff pastry into strips and roll each strip tightly. Place each rolled strip into the prepared muffin tin.
05 - Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the cruffins are golden and puffed.
06 - While the cruffins bake, prepare the cream filling by beating the cream cheese, pumpkin puree, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract together until smooth.
07 - Allow the cruffins to cool slightly, then pipe the pumpkin cream filling into the center of each cruffin.
08 - Dust the cruffins with powdered sugar before serving for extra sweetness.
