Ingredients:

1 sheet puff pastry (thawed).

1/2 cup pumpkin puree.

1/4 cup cream cheese, softened.

1/4 cup powdered sugar.

1 tsp pumpkin pie spice.

1 egg (for egg wash).

1 tbsp sugar (for sprinkling).
Instructions:

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a mixing bowl, combine pumpkin puree, cream cheese, powdered sugar, and pumpkin pie spice. Mix until smooth.

On a floured surface, roll out the thawed puff pastry sheet to smooth it out.

Cut the pastry into strips (about 1 inch wide) using a sharp knife or pizza cutter.

Place a spoonful of the pumpkin filling along one side of each strip.

Fold the other side over the filling and twist the pastry to create a spiral shape.

Beat the egg and brush it over each twist. Sprinkle with sugar.
