Slow Cooker Broccoli Beef (Print Version)
Ingredients:

1.5 lbs beef sirloin, thinly sliced.

2 cups broccoli florets.

1 cup beef broth.

1/2 cup soy sauce.

1/4 cup brown sugar.

1/4 cup hoisin sauce.

3 cloves garlic, minced.

1 tbsp fresh ginger, minced.

2 tbsp cornstarch.

2 tbsp water.

1 tbsp olive oil.
Instructions:

In a bowl, mix beef broth, soy sauce, brown sugar, hoisin sauce, garlic, and ginger.

Place sliced beef in the slow cooker and pour the sauce mixture over it. Stir to coat the beef evenly.

Cover and cook on low for 5-6 hours, or until beef is tender.

About 30 minutes before serving, add broccoli florets to the slow cooker. Stir to combine.

In a small bowl, mix cornstarch with water to create a slurry. Stir the slurry into the slow cooker to thicken the sauce. Continue cooking for the remaining 30 minutes.
