Strawberry Rice Krispie Treats (Print Version)

Ingredients:

01 - ½ cup unsalted butter (113g).
02 - 1 (10oz) bag regular or mini marshmallows (285g).
03 - 1 (3oz) package strawberry gelatin (strawberry Jello).
04 - 1 tsp lime juice (4g).
05 - 1 tsp vanilla extract (4g).
06 - 6 cups puffed rice cereal (160g).
07 - 1 cup mini marshmallows (optional).

Instructions:

01 - Grease and line an 8-inch square pan with parchment paper.
02 - In a large pot, melt ½ cup of butter over medium heat.
03 - Turn the heat to low and stir in 10 oz of marshmallows until smooth.
04 - Add in the 3 oz of strawberry gelatin and stir until combined.
05 - Mix in 1 tsp lime juice and 1 tsp vanilla extract for a boost of flavor.
06 - Remove the pot from the stove and stir in 6 cups of puffed rice cereal in two additions, ensuring the cereal is fully coated.
07 - For extra texture, stir in 1 cup of mini marshmallows.
08 - Quickly scoop the mixture into the prepared pan and press it into an even layer with a rubber spatula.
09 - Optional: Drizzle the top with white chocolate ganache for added richness.
10 - Let the treats cool for 15 minutes, then cut into squares and enjoy!.
