Turn your oven to 375 degrees and let it preheat.

Open the can of crescent rolls but don't unroll them - keep the dough in its log shape. This is important for slicing.

Using a sharp knife, slice the log into rounds about half an inch thick. You should get about 7 to 8 pieces.

Place the rounds on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Use your fingers to press down the center of each round, leaving a raised edge around the outside to hold the filling in.

Mix the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar together in a small bowl until smooth.

Spoon about a tablespoon and a half of the cream cheese mixture into the center of each crescent roll cup.

Add about a tablespoon of cherry pie filling on top of the cream cheese layer on each danish.

Bake for 12 to 15 minutes until the crescent rolls are lightly golden brown on the edges.

Let them cool for a minute or two, then serve warm or at room temperature. Enjoy your easy danishes.
