4 Ingredient Cherry Danish (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 can Pillsbury crescent rolls
02 - 4 oz cream cheese, softened
03 - 4 tbsp powdered sugar
04 - 7 to 8 tbsp cherry pie filling

# Instructions:

01 - Turn your oven to 375 degrees and let it preheat.
02 - Open the can of crescent rolls but don't unroll them - keep the dough in its log shape. This is important for slicing.
03 - Using a sharp knife, slice the log into rounds about half an inch thick. You should get about 7 to 8 pieces.
04 - Place the rounds on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Use your fingers to press down the center of each round, leaving a raised edge around the outside to hold the filling in.
05 - Mix the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar together in a small bowl until smooth.
06 - Spoon about a tablespoon and a half of the cream cheese mixture into the center of each crescent roll cup.
07 - Add about a tablespoon of cherry pie filling on top of the cream cheese layer on each danish.
08 - Bake for 12 to 15 minutes until the crescent rolls are lightly golden brown on the edges.
09 - Let them cool for a minute or two, then serve warm or at room temperature. Enjoy your easy danishes.

# Notes:

01 - The key is keeping the crescent roll dough in a log shape instead of unrolling it.
02 - Make sure your cream cheese is really soft or it won't mix smoothly with the sugar.
03 - Don't overfill the centers or the filling will spill over while baking.
04 - You can use any flavor of pie filling - blueberry, apple, or strawberry all work great.
05 - These are best eaten fresh but can be stored in the fridge for a day or two.
06 - Perfect for a quick breakfast or when you need an easy dessert in a hurry.
