Air Fryer Breakfast Roll Ups (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Scrambled Eggs

01 - 3 large eggs
02 - 2 tablespoons milk
03 - Kosher salt and pepper to taste
04 - 2 tablespoons butter, divided

→ Roll Up Assembly

05 - 1 tube refrigerated crescent rolls
06 - 8 cooked breakfast sausage links (maple flavored recommended)
07 - 4 slices Colby Jack cheese, cut in half

→ Maple Butter Glaze

08 - 1 tablespoon maple syrup

# Instructions:

01 - Crack the eggs into a bowl and add milk, kosher salt, and pepper. Beat well with a fork until combined.
02 - Heat 1 tablespoon of butter in a small skillet over medium-low heat. Add the beaten eggs and scramble gently for 3-4 minutes until just set but still creamy. Set aside to cool slightly.
03 - Separate the crescent roll dough into 8 individual triangles and lay them flat on your work surface.
04 - Place a spoonful of scrambled eggs on each triangle, add one cooked sausage link, and top with half a slice of cheese. Roll each triangle up, starting from the wide end.
05 - Place the rolled-up crescents seam-side down in the air fryer basket. Cook at 370°F for 7-9 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
06 - While the roll ups cook, melt the remaining tablespoon of butter and mix with maple syrup to create a sweet glaze.
07 - During the last 2-3 minutes of cooking, brush the maple butter glaze over the roll ups for a golden, sweet finish.
08 - Remove from air fryer and let cool for 2-3 minutes before serving. These are best enjoyed warm while the cheese is still melty.

# Notes:

01 - You can cook raw sausage links in the air fryer at 370°F for 9-10 minutes, or use precooked links to save time
02 - Don't overfill the crescent rolls or they'll be difficult to roll and may leak during cooking
03 - The maple syrup glaze gives these a sweet breakfast flavor that pairs perfectly with the savory filling
04 - These can be assembled the night before and air fried fresh in the morning
