Air Fryer Donuts (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 cup lukewarm milk (100°F).
02 - 2½ teaspoons active dry yeast.
03 - ¼ cup plus 1 teaspoon white sugar.
04 - ½ teaspoon salt.
05 - 1 egg.
06 - ¼ cup melted butter, unsalted.
07 - 3 cups plain flour.
08 - Coconut oil spray.
09 - 6 tablespoons butter for glaze.
10 - 2 cups powdered sugar.
11 - 2 teaspoons vanilla extract.
12 - 4 tablespoons hot water.

# Instructions:

01 - Mix warm milk, 1 teaspoon sugar and yeast, let sit 10 minutes until foamy.
02 - Add remaining sugar, salt, egg, butter and 2 cups flour, mix, then add last cup flour slowly.
03 - Mix on medium-low for 5 minutes until dough is smooth and elastic.
04 - Place in greased bowl, cover with plastic wrap and let rise until doubled.
05 - Roll dough to ½ inch thick and cut into donuts with 3-inch and 1-inch cutters.
06 - Let shaped donuts rise 30 minutes until doubled.
07 - Air fry at 350°F for 4 minutes until golden, spraying with oil before cooking.
08 - Melt butter, stir in sugar and vanilla, thin with hot water.
09 - Dip hot donuts in glaze and let set on wire rack.

# Notes:

01 - Check milk temperature on wrist - should feel warm not hot.
02 - Dough is ready when finger indent stays.
03 - Coconut oil spray works best.
