Mix warm milk, 1 teaspoon sugar and yeast, let sit 10 minutes until foamy.

Add remaining sugar, salt, egg, butter and 2 cups flour, mix, then add last cup flour slowly.

Mix on medium-low for 5 minutes until dough is smooth and elastic.

Place in greased bowl, cover with plastic wrap and let rise until doubled.

Roll dough to ½ inch thick and cut into donuts with 3-inch and 1-inch cutters.

Let shaped donuts rise 30 minutes until doubled.

Air fry at 350°F for 4 minutes until golden, spraying with oil before cooking.

Melt butter, stir in sugar and vanilla, thin with hot water.

Dip hot donuts in glaze and let set on wire rack.
