General Tso's Chicken (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 pound chicken thighs, cut bite-sized.
02 - 1 teaspoon minced ginger for marinade.
03 - 1 teaspoon minced garlic for marinade.
04 - 2 teaspoons soy sauce for marinade.
05 - 1 teaspoon rice vinegar for marinade.
06 - 1 beaten egg.
07 - 2/3 cup cornstarch.
08 - 1/2 cup chicken broth.
09 - 2 tablespoons soy sauce for sauce.
10 - 2 tablespoons ketchup.
11 - 2 teaspoons rice vinegar for sauce.
12 - 2 teaspoons brown sugar.
13 - 2 teaspoons cornstarch for sauce.
14 - 2 tablespoons cooking oil.
15 - 1 teaspoon minced ginger for sauce.
16 - 1 teaspoon minced garlic for sauce.
17 - 1 teaspoon red chili flakes.

# Instructions:

01 - Mix chicken with ginger, garlic, soy sauce and rice vinegar. Let sit 30 minutes.
02 - Preheat to 400°F for 5 minutes. Grease basket with oil.
03 - Dip chicken in beaten egg, then coat in cornstarch. Shake off extra.
04 - Place in single layer in air fryer. Cook at 400°F for 12-16 minutes until internal temp hits 165°F.
05 - Mix broth, soy sauce, vinegar, sugar, cornstarch, and ketchup. Heat oil, cook ginger, garlic and chili until fragrant. Add sauce mix and cook until thick.
06 - Toss chicken in sauce. Top with sesame seeds and green onions.

# Notes:

01 - Cook chicken in batches to avoid overcrowding.
02 - Can make sauce sweeter by adding more sugar.
03 - Double sauce recipe if you like extra sauce.
