Air Fryer Pizza Dogs (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Hot Dog Base

01 - 4 hot dogs or wieners
02 - 4 hot dog buns
03 - ½ cup pizza sauce

→ Pizza Toppings

04 - 3 oz pepperoni slices
05 - 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
06 - 2 strips bacon, cooked and chopped

# Instructions:

01 - Set your air fryer to 380°F and let it preheat for about 3 minutes while you gather your ingredients.
02 - Place the hot dogs in the air fryer basket and cook at 380°F for 5 minutes until they're heated through and slightly crispy on the outside.
03 - While the hot dogs cook, open up each bun and spread pizza sauce on the inside surfaces, creating a flavorful base for your toppings.
04 - Take about two-thirds of your pepperoni slices and line them down the center of each bun, creating a nice bed for the hot dog.
05 - Place each cooked hot dog on top of the pepperoni in the buns, then sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese generously over everything.
06 - Sprinkle the chopped bacon pieces over the cheese, then top with the remaining pepperoni slices for that authentic pizza look.
07 - Carefully place the assembled pizza dogs back in the air fryer basket and cook at 380°F for 4 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
08 - Remove from the air fryer and let cool for just a minute before serving. The cheese will be very hot, so be careful!

# Notes:

01 - Make sure to cook the bacon ahead of time and chop it into small pieces
02 - Don't overfill the buns or the toppings might fall off during cooking
03 - These are great for kids' parties or game day snacks
04 - You can customize with other pizza toppings like mushrooms or bell peppers
