Air Fryer Tortilla Pizza (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Pizza Base

01 - 2 (8-inch) flour tortillas
02 - 1 tablespoon olive oil or cooking spray
03 - 1/2 cup pizza sauce

→ Seasoning Blend

04 - 1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese
05 - 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning

→ Toppings

06 - 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
07 - 6-8 slices pepperoni or toppings of choice

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat your air fryer to 400°F. This ensures even cooking and a crispy crust from the start.
02 - In a small bowl, mix together the grated Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning. This will be your flavor base for both the crust and topping.
03 - Brush both tortillas with olive oil or spray with cooking spray on one side. Sprinkle half of the Parmesan-Italian seasoning mixture over the oiled side of each tortilla, reserving the rest for topping.
04 - Spread pizza sauce evenly on each tortilla, leaving a small border around the edges. Top with pepperoni slices and shredded mozzarella cheese. Sprinkle the remaining seasoning mixture over the cheese.
05 - Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray. Carefully place one tortilla pizza in the air fryer basket and cook for 4-5 minutes until the edges are golden brown and the cheese is fully melted and bubbly.
06 - Once done, remove the air fryer basket from the unit but leave the pizza in the basket for 2-3 minutes. This allows the bottom to crisp up even more from the residual heat.
07 - Using a spatula, carefully remove the first pizza from the basket. Cook the second pizza following the same process.
08 - Cut each pizza into triangles using a pizza cutter or sharp knife. Serve immediately while hot and crispy.

# Notes:

01 - Almond flour or regular flour tortillas work best for crispiness
02 - You can use any sauce - pesto, alfredo, or BBQ sauce all work great
03 - Don't overload with toppings or the tortilla won't get crispy
04 - Let pizza rest in the basket after cooking for extra crispiness
