Almond Paste Cookies (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 cup almond paste.
02 - 1 cup gluten-free all-purpose flour.
03 - 1 cup granulated sugar.
04 - 2 large egg whites.
05 - 1 teaspoon almond extract.
06 - 1/2 cup sliced almonds.

# Instructions:

01 - Heat oven to 350°F and line baking sheet with parchment paper.
02 - Crumble almond paste in bowl, add sugar and mix until combined.
03 - Mix in egg whites and almond extract until smooth.
04 - Gradually mix in gluten-free flour until sticky dough forms.
05 - Scoop tablespoon-sized portions and roll into balls.
06 - Press sliced almonds onto each dough ball.
07 - Bake 15-18 minutes until edges are lightly golden.
08 - Let rest 5 minutes on sheet, then move to cooling rack.
