Asparagus & Cheese Stuffed Chicken (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
02 - 4 slices mozzarella cheese
03 - 12 stalks asparagus, ends trimmed

→ Seasonings

04 - ½ teaspoon garlic powder
05 - ½ teaspoon paprika
06 - ½ teaspoon dried thyme
07 - ½ teaspoon oregano
08 - ½ teaspoon salt

→ Additional

09 - 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
10 - Fresh lemon juice (optional)

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 400°F. Cut chicken breasts ¾ way through to form pockets
02 - Season chicken with garlic powder, paprika, thyme, oregano, and salt
03 - Fill chicken pockets with mozzarella and asparagus. Secure with toothpicks
04 - Heat oil in skillet over medium-high heat. Sear chicken 4-5 minutes per side until browned
05 - Transfer skillet to oven and bake 15 minutes until chicken reaches 165°F internally
