# Ingredients:

01 - 2 slices sourdough bread
02 - 2 tablespoons salted butter, room temperature
03 - 1/2 cup shredded Colby Jack cheese

→ Flavorful Fillings

04 - 2 tablespoons guacamole, room temperature
05 - 4 strips bacon, cooked and crispy
06 - 3-4 tortilla chips for crunch (optional)

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat a large skillet over medium heat. This ensures even browning and prevents burning the bread before the cheese melts.
02 - While the pan heats up, spread room temperature butter evenly on one side of each bread slice. This creates the golden, crispy exterior.
03 - Place one slice of bread butter-side down on a clean surface. Layer half the cheese on the unbuttered side, then spread guacamole evenly over the cheese. Add the crispy bacon strips and tortilla chips if using, then top with remaining cheese and the second bread slice, butter-side up.
04 - Carefully transfer the assembled sandwich to the preheated skillet. Cook for 2-4 minutes until the bottom is golden brown and crispy.
05 - Using a spatula, carefully flip the sandwich and cook the other side for 2-4 minutes more until golden brown and the cheese is completely melted and gooey.
06 - Remove from heat and let cool for 30 seconds before cutting. Slice diagonally if desired and serve immediately while the cheese is still melted and the bread is crispy.
