# Ingredients:

01 - 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour.
02 - ¼ cup granulated sugar.
03 - 1 tbsp baking powder.
04 - ½ tsp salt.
05 - ¾ cup whole milk.
06 - 1 large egg.
07 - 2 tbsp unsalted butter (melted).
08 - 1 tsp vanilla extract.
09 - 2 tbsp brown sugar (for topping).
10 - 1 tbsp heavy cream.

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a donut pan or line with parchment paper.
02 - In a bowl, whisk together flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt.
03 - In another bowl, whisk together milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla extract.
04 - Gradually fold the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients. Stir until just combined.
05 - Spoon the batter evenly into the donut pan, filling each mold about ¾ full.
06 - Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until donuts are golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
07 - Prepare the brulee topping: Sprinkle brown sugar evenly over the warm donuts.
08 - Use a kitchen torch to caramelize the sugar until golden and crispy. (Alternatively, broil for 1-2 minutes in the oven.).
