Baked Honey Garlic Chicken (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Chicken

01 - 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
02 - 1/2 teaspoon salt
03 - 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

→ Honey Garlic Sauce

04 - 2/3 cup clear honey
05 - 1/4 cup low sodium chicken broth
06 - 2 tablespoons low sodium soy sauce
07 - 2 tablespoons minced garlic
08 - 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
09 - 1/4 teaspoon salt
10 - 1 tablespoon corn starch
11 - Red pepper flakes to taste (optional)

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 425°F. Flatten chicken breasts to even thickness under plastic wrap.
02 - Place chicken in 9x13 dish, season with salt and pepper. Bake 10 minutes.
03 - Whisk together honey, broth, soy sauce, garlic, vinegar, salt, cornstarch, and optional pepper flakes.
04 - Pour sauce over chicken, bake additional 10-12 minutes until chicken reaches 165°F.
05 - Cover and let rest 10 minutes before serving.
