Baked Lemon Butter Chicken (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Chicken

01 - 10 dark meat chicken pieces (thighs and drumsticks)
02 - 2 teaspoons kosher salt
03 - 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
04 - 1 tablespoon Montreal chicken seasoning

→ Sauce

05 - 2 tablespoons butter
06 - 1/2 cup minced red onion
07 - 1/2 cup chopped flat leaf parsley
08 - 1 tablespoon minced garlic
09 - 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
10 - 1 cup chicken stock
11 - 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
12 - 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
13 - 1/3 cup heavy whipping cream

# Instructions:

01 - Sauté onions in melted butter. Add parsley, garlic, lemon juice, and pepper flakes. Add stock, Parmesan, and cream. Simmer briefly.
02 - Season chicken with salt, paprika, and chicken seasoning while sauce cools.
03 - Pour sauce over seasoned chicken in baking dish.
04 - Bake uncovered at 375°F for 1 hour 45 minutes, flipping halfway. Broil until golden.
05 - Baste with sauce before serving.
