Beef and Cheddar Sloppy Joes (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ For the Sloppy Joe Mixture

01 - 1 lb ground beef
02 - 1 onion, chopped
03 - 1/2 teaspoon salt
04 - 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
05 - 1 teaspoon onion powder
06 - 1 teaspoon paprika
07 - 1 tablespoon minced garlic
08 - 1 to 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
09 - 1/4 cup ketchup
10 - 1 tablespoon mustard
11 - 1 cup Arby's sauce

→ For Assembly

12 - 6 onion buns
13 - Crispy fried onions
14 - Nacho cheese sauce

# Instructions:

01 - Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Brown the ground beef with the chopped onion. Season with salt, black pepper, onion powder, and paprika. Once the beef is cooked through, drain off any excess grease.
02 - Add the minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, ketchup, mustard, and Arby's sauce to the skillet. Stir everything together really well. Let it simmer on low heat for a couple minutes so all the flavors blend together.
03 - While the meat is simmering, toast the onion buns in a separate skillet until they're lightly golden. Heat up the nacho cheese sauce in the microwave or on the stovetop.
04 - Place the bottom buns on plates and add a generous scoop of the sloppy joe mixture. Top with crispy fried onions, then drizzle or spread nacho cheese on the top buns. Put the tops on and serve hot. Enjoy these copycat Arby's style sloppy joes!

# Notes:

01 - This recipe makes at least 6 sandwiches, depending on how generously you fill them.
02 - You can find Arby's sauce in most grocery stores near the other condiments, or make a copycat version at home.
03 - Toasting the buns helps them hold up better to the saucy filling without getting soggy.
04 - The meat mixture can be made ahead and reheated when you're ready to serve.
