Beef Cheese Tortellini Bake (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 teaspoon olive oil.
02 - 1 pound ground beef.
03 - Salt and pepper to taste.
04 - 1/2 cup onion, chopped.
05 - 1 clove garlic, minced.
06 - 1 teaspoon dried oregano.
07 - 1 teaspoon dried thyme.
08 - 2 teaspoons dried parsley.
09 - 1 can (28 ounces) crushed tomatoes.
10 - 1/4 cup fresh basil, sliced.
11 - 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese.
12 - 1 1/4 pounds cheese tortellini, cooked and drained.

# Instructions:

01 - Heat your oven to 375°F. Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
02 - Heat oil in a large pan. Add beef, salt, and pepper. Cook until brown, breaking it up as it cooks.
03 - Put onion and garlic in with the beef. Cook until onions turn clear and garlic smells good.
04 - Mix in oregano, thyme, and parsley. Let it cook another minute or two.
05 - Pour in tomatoes and stir well. Let it bubble gently for 10-15 minutes to mix the flavors.
06 - Stir in fresh basil and take pan off the heat.
07 - In a big bowl, mix cooked tortellini with the meat sauce until pasta is well coated.
08 - Put pasta mix in your greased dish. Sprinkle mozzarella all over the top.
09 - Pop in the oven for 20-25 minutes until cheese melts and gets bubbly. Let it cool a bit before serving.
