Candied Sweet Potatoes (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 4 large sweet potatoes, peeled and sliced into rounds.
02 - 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted.
03 - 1/2 cup packed brown sugar.
04 - 1/4 cup granulated sugar.
05 - 1/4 cup maple syrup.
06 - 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon.
07 - 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg.
08 - 1/4 teaspoon salt.
09 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract.

# Instructions:

01 - Heat oven to 350°F.
02 - Arrange potato slices in baking dish.
03 - Mix melted butter, sugars, maple syrup, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, and vanilla.
04 - Pour sauce over potatoes and toss to coat.
05 - Cover with foil and bake 45 minutes.
06 - Uncover and bake 15-20 minutes more until tender and sauce is bubbly.
07 - Let cool slightly before serving.

01 - Cut potatoes uniform thickness.
02 - Can make 2 days ahead.
03 - Sauce thickens as it cools.
04 - Best with red sweet potatoes.
