Caramel Apple Pie Yogurt Bowl (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Yogurt Base

01 - 2 cups Greek yogurt

→ Caramelized Apples

02 - 1 apple, peeled and diced
03 - 1 tablespoon caramel sauce
04 - 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

→ Toppings

05 - 1/4 cup granola
06 - 1 tablespoon chopped walnuts
07 - 1 tablespoon caramel sauce (for drizzling)

# Instructions:

01 - In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine the diced apple, 1 tablespoon of caramel sauce, and cinnamon. Cook for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the apples are tender and lightly caramelized. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
02 - Divide the Greek yogurt evenly between two serving bowls, creating a smooth base layer.
03 - Spoon the warm caramelized apples on top of the yogurt. Sprinkle each bowl with granola and chopped walnuts, dividing equally between both servings.
04 - Drizzle the remaining tablespoon of caramel sauce over the tops of the assembled bowls. Serve immediately while the apples are still warm for the best flavor contrast.

# Notes:

01 - For extra flavor, add a pinch of nutmeg or apple pie spice to the apples while cooking.
02 - This recipe works well with seasonal fruits - try pears in fall or peaches in summer.
03 - For a make-ahead option, store the cooked apple mixture separately and assemble just before eating.
