Caramel Cookies (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 cup unsalted butter, softened.
02 - 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar.
03 - 2 large eggs.
04 - 2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour.
05 - 1 teaspoon baking soda.
06 - 1 teaspoon cream of tartar.
07 - 1/2 teaspoon salt.
08 - 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon.
09 - 1 tablespoon vanilla extract.
10 - 1 bag soft caramel candies, unwrapped.

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
02 - In a large bowl, cream together butter and sugar until smooth. Add eggs and vanilla, and mix until combined. In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking soda, cream of tartar, salt, and cinnamon. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until fully incorporated.
03 - Take about a tablespoon of dough and flatten it out. Place one caramel candy in the center and wrap the dough around it, sealing the edges. Roll the ball in cinnamon sugar.
04 - Place the dough balls on the prepared baking sheet, spaced about 2 inches apart. Bake for 8-10 minutes or until golden and slightly firm.
05 - Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.
