# Ingredients:

→ For the Filling

01 - 1 can cream of chicken soup
02 - 1 cup sour cream
03 - 3/4 cup milk
04 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder
05 - 1 teaspoon onion powder
06 - 1 teaspoon black pepper
07 - 1 teaspoon Herbs de Provence (or 1/2 teaspoon poultry seasoning)
08 - 4 cups cooked, shredded chicken (rotisserie chicken works great)
09 - 10 oz bag frozen mixed vegetables, thawed

→ For the Biscuit Topping

10 - 11.36 oz box Red Lobster Cheddar Bay Biscuit Mix
11 - 3/4 cup cold water
12 - 1/2 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
13 - 4 tablespoons melted butter
14 - Seasoning packet from biscuit mix
15 - Dried parsley for garnish (optional)

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat your oven to 425 degrees.
02 - In a large bowl, combine the cream of chicken soup, sour cream, and milk. Mix in the garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and Herbs de Provence. Stir in the cooked shredded chicken and thawed mixed vegetables until everything is well combined.
03 - Spread the chicken mixture into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish and bake for 15 minutes. This initial baking helps heat the filling and meld all the flavors together.
04 - While the filling is baking, prepare the Cheddar Bay biscuit mix according to package directions using the 3/4 cup cold water and 1/2 cup shredded cheese.
05 - Once the filling is ready, spread the biscuit dough evenly over the top. Return to the oven and bake for an additional 15 to 18 minutes, until the biscuit crust is golden brown and cooked through.
06 - Mix the melted butter with the seasoning packet that comes with the biscuit mix. Brush this mixture all over the top of the hot casserole. Sprinkle with dried parsley if you like for a pop of color. Serve hot and enjoy this cozy comfort food!

# Notes:

01 - One rotisserie chicken gives you about 4 cups of shredded meat - perfect for this recipe.
02 - Make sure to thaw the frozen vegetables before adding them to prevent excess water in the filling.
03 - The Red Lobster biscuit mix comes with a garlic herb seasoning packet - save it for brushing on top!
04 - Baking the filling first before adding the biscuit topping ensures everything is hot and the biscuits cook perfectly.
05 - You can use any cooked chicken - rotisserie, leftover grilled chicken, or even canned chicken in a pinch.
06 - Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven for best results.
