Cheesy Garlic Rolls (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 4 cups (500g) all-purpose flour, divided.
02 - 2 envelopes (4½ teaspoons) rapid-rise yeast.
03 - ¼ cup (50g) granulated sugar.
04 - 1 large egg, room temperature.
05 - 1 teaspoon kosher salt.
06 - 1½ cups (366g) whole milk.
07 - 2 cups (226g) sharp cheddar cheese, shredded.
08 - 1 tablespoon fresh garlic, minced.
09 - 1 tablespoon fresh chives, minced.
10 - 2 tablespoons salted butter, melted.
11 - 1 teaspoon fresh garlic, minced.
12 - 1 teaspoon fresh chives, minced.
13 - 1 teaspoon kosher salt.

# Instructions:

01 - Mix 3 cups flour, yeast, sugar, egg, and salt in stand mixer with dough hook.
02 - Warm milk to 110-115°F and add to mixture. Knead 2 minutes at medium speed.
03 - Add ½ cup flour, knead 2 more minutes.
04 - Mix in remaining flour, cheese, garlic, and chives. Knead until soft dough forms.
05 - Cover, let rise 45 minutes until doubled.
06 - Punch down dough. Divide into 12 balls.
07 - Place in greased 9x13 pan. Cover, rise 30 minutes.
08 - Heat oven to 375°F.
09 - Bake 22-27 minutes until golden.
10 - Mix melted butter with garlic and chives. Brush on warm rolls.
11 - Sprinkle with salt and serve warm.

01 - Add flour gradually if dough is sticky.
02 - Can be prepped ahead through second rise and refrigerated overnight.
