Cheesy Pizza Pockets (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Dough and Filling

01 - 1/2 cup marinara sauce
02 - 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
03 - 1 can of pizza dough or crescent rolls, refrigerated
04 - 1/2 cup pepperoni or any toppings you like—mushrooms, sausage, or diced peppers

→ Seasonings and Toppings

05 - A quarter teaspoon of Italian herbs
06 - A light sprinkle of powdered garlic
07 - Melted butter or olive oil, to brush on top
08 - Some grated Parmesan for finishing

# Instructions:

01 - Set your oven to 375°F (190°C) and cover a baking sheet with parchment or baking paper.
02 - Spread the dough on a floured counter. If it’s crescent rolls, break it apart into triangles. For pizza dough, slice it into 8 small rectangles.
03 - Smear a thin layer of marinara sauce on each piece of dough. Add some shredded mozzarella and scatter a couple of pepperoni slices or other toppings over it.
04 - Sprinkle on some garlic and Italian seasoning. Fold each dough piece to make a pocket, then firmly press the edges together using a fork.
05 - Lightly coat the top of each pocket with butter or oil using a pastry brush. Toss a bit of Parmesan on each one. Bake them for 12–15 minutes until they’re golden and bubbling.
06 - Let the pockets cool off just a little. They’re great with extra marinara for dipping if you like!
