Cherry Cheesecake Bars (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 8.5 ounces sugar cookie mix.
02 - 4 tablespoons cold unsalted butter.
03 - 8 ounces cream cheese, softened.
04 - 1/4 cup granulated sugar.
05 - 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour.
06 - 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract.
07 - 1 large egg.
08 - 1/2 can cherry pie filling.
09 - 1/3 cup toasted sliced almonds.

# Instructions:

01 - Heat oven to 350°F, line pan with foil and spray with non-stick coating.
02 - Mix cookie mix and cold butter until crumbly, reserve 3/4 cup for topping.
03 - Press remaining mixture into pan, bake 10 minutes until slightly underdone.
04 - Mix cream cheese, sugar, flour, vanilla, and egg until smooth.
05 - Spread cream cheese mixture over crust, top with cherry filling.
06 - Mix reserved crumbs with almonds, sprinkle over cherries.
07 - Bake 40-45 minutes until golden brown.
08 - Cool 30 minutes at room temperature, then chill in refrigerator.
