01 -
Heat the oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the cubed chicken and season with paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Stir and cook until the juices run clear and the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees. Remove from heat.
02 -
While the chicken is cooking, bake the frozen garlic Texas toast on a parchment paper-lined baking sheet according to the package directions. Cook for an additional 1 to 2 minutes, or until the bread is slightly crispier than normal.
03 -
When the toast is done, use the back of a spoon to gently press down and create a well in each piece of toast - this makes a little pocket for the toppings.
04 -
Top each slice of garlic Texas toast with some of the cooked chicken, 1 to 2 tablespoons of garlic Alfredo sauce, some shredded mozzarella cheese, and then the cooked bacon pieces.
05 -
Pop the topped toast back into the oven until the cheese has melted and is bubbly.
06 -
If you like, sprinkle with dried parsley for color. Serve hot with the leftover Alfredo sauce on the side for dipping!
