Chicken Parmesan Sliders (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 2 large chicken breasts, butterflied.
02 - 1 cup buttermilk.
03 - ¾ cup flour.
04 - 2 teaspoons seasoned salt.
05 - ½ teaspoon black pepper.
06 - 2 large eggs.
07 - 1½ cups breadcrumbs.
08 - ¼ cup grated Parmesan.
09 - 2 tablespoons fresh parsley.
10 - ½ cup olive oil.
11 - 2 tablespoons butter.
12 - 6 slices provolone cheese.
13 - ½ cup marinara sauce.
14 - 18 frozen mozzarella sticks.
15 - 6 slider buns.
16 - ¼ cup melted butter for topping.
17 - 1 teaspoon sea salt.
18 - ¼ teaspoon garlic powder.
19 - ¼ teaspoon Italian seasoning.

# Instructions:

01 - Butterfly chicken breasts and pound thin, then cut to fit buns.
02 - Soak chicken in buttermilk for at least 30 minutes or overnight.
03 - Make three bowls: seasoned flour, beaten eggs, and breadcrumb mixture.
04 - Coat chicken in flour, then egg, then breadcrumb mixture.
05 - Bake mozzarella sticks at 450°F for 7 minutes.
06 - Cook chicken in oil and butter until golden, about 4 minutes per side.
07 - Layer buns with chicken, sauce, cheese and mozzarella sticks.
08 - Mix melted butter with seasonings and brush on bun tops.
09 - Cover and bake at 350°F for 8 minutes, then uncover for 2-3 minutes more.

# Notes:

01 - Can substitute buttermilk with milk and sour cream.
02 - Use 4-inch diameter buns.
03 - Fresh breadcrumbs work best.
