Healthy Banana Oat Cookies (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Base

01 - 2 large ripe bananas (3/4 cup mashed)
02 - 1/2 cup almond butter
03 - 3 tablespoons maple syrup
04 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
05 - 2 cups rolled oats
06 - 1/4 teaspoon salt
07 - 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)

→ Mix-ins

08 - 1/4 cup chocolate chips
09 - 1/3 cup chopped walnuts

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 350°F. Line baking sheet with parchment paper.
02 - Combine mashed bananas, almond butter, maple syrup and vanilla in a bowl.
03 - In separate bowl, mix oats, salt, cinnamon, chocolate chips and walnuts.
04 - Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients, mix until combined.
05 - Scoop cookies onto baking sheet, press down slightly to flatten.
06 - Bake 12-15 minutes until golden brown around edges.

# Notes:

01 - Use very ripe bananas for sweetness
02 - Large flaked oats work best
03 - Must press cookies down before baking
