Cookie Dough Pudding (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1/2 cup packed brown sugar.
02 - 2 tablespoons cornstarch.
03 - 1/4 teaspoon salt.
04 - 2 cups whole milk.
05 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract.
06 - 2 tablespoons unsalted butter.
07 - 1-2 cups mini chocolate chips.
08 - Small chocolate chip cookies for topping (optional).

# Instructions:

01 - Mix brown sugar, cornstarch, and salt in a saucepan.
02 - Pour in whole milk and whisk until smooth.
03 - Cook on medium-low heat, stirring non-stop until thick (5-7 minutes).
04 - Take off heat and add vanilla and butter, whisk until smooth.
05 - Pour into serving bowl.
06 - Cover with plastic wrap touching the pudding surface.
07 - Chill in fridge for 2 hours.
08 - Mix in chocolate chips just before serving.
09 - Top with mini cookies if desired.

01 - Best served cold.
02 - Add chocolate chips last to keep them crunchy.
