01 -
Mix together the strawberry cake mix following the directions on the box. Pour the batter into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish and bake according to package directions. Once fully baked, let it cool for about 10 minutes.
02 -
Use the handle of a wooden spoon to poke holes all over the cake - make them pretty deep so the pudding can soak in.
03 -
Mix together the pudding mix and 4 cups of milk following the directions on the package. Pour the pudding over the cake before it completely thickens - work quickly! Let it sit on the counter for about 5 minutes so the pudding can settle into the holes.
04 -
Spread the Cool Whip evenly over the top of the pudding layer.
05 -
Melt the chocolate in the microwave, stirring in short 15 to 30 second bursts until it's smooth and completely melted.
06 -
Arrange the quartered strawberries on top of the Cool Whip, then drizzle the melted chocolate over everything.
07 -
Put the finished cake in the fridge for a couple hours so the chocolate and pudding can set properly. Then it's ready to serve and enjoy!
