Chocolate Pumpkin Bread (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 3 cups all-purpose flour.
02 - 1 tsp salt.
03 - 1 tsp baking powder.
04 - 1 tsp baking soda.
05 - 4 tsp pumpkin pie spice.
06 - 2 cups canned pumpkin.
07 - ⅔ cup brown sugar.
08 - ⅔ cup granulated sugar.
09 - 1 cup applesauce or oil.
10 - 3 large eggs.
11 - 1 tbsp vanilla.
12 - 2 cups chocolate chips.

# Instructions:

01 - Heat oven to 350°F and prep two 8x4 loaf pans.
02 - Combine the flour, salt, baking powder, baking soda, and pumpkin pie spice in a bowl.
03 - Whisk together the canned pumpkin, brown sugar, granulated sugar, applesauce or oil, eggs, and vanilla in a separate bowl.
04 - Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix just until blended.
05 - Gently fold in the chocolate chips, reserving some for topping.
06 - Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pans and sprinkle the reserved chocolate chips on top.
07 - Bake the loaves for 50-55 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
08 - Let the loaves cool in the pans for 10 minutes, then remove them and let cool completely on a rack.
