In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.

Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.

Once cooled, spread a teaspoon of raspberry jam on the bottom of half of the cookies and top with the remaining cookies to form sandwiches.
