Chocolate Strawberry Cheesecake (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ For the Crust

01 - 2 cups chocolate cookie crumbs
02 - 1/4 cup melted butter

→ For the Filling

03 - 24 oz cream cheese, softened
04 - 1 cup granulated sugar
05 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
06 - 4 large eggs
07 - 1 cup sour cream
08 - 1/2 cup strawberry puree
09 - 1/2 cup melted semi-sweet chocolate

→ For Decoration

10 - Fresh strawberries for garnish

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat the oven to 325°F (163°C).
02 - Mix chocolate cookie crumbs with melted butter. Press firmly into the base of a 9-inch springform pan.
03 - Beat cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each. Stir in sour cream until combined.
04 - Split the mixture in half. Mix strawberry puree into one portion and melted chocolate into the other.
05 - Pour chocolate layer over crust and smooth surface. Carefully add strawberry layer on top, keeping layers separate.
06 - Bake for 55-60 minutes until center is set but slightly jiggly. Cool to room temperature.
07 - Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight. Garnish with fresh strawberries before serving.

01 - Store covered in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days
02 - For clean slices, dip knife in hot water between cuts
03 - Frozen strawberries can be used for puree - thaw and blend until smooth
